About This Piece
This floral pin brooch features a decorative composition set with amethyst, enamel and marcasite, arranged in a flowing botanical design. The purple enamel highlights the petal forms, while the amethyst introduces a rich central tone that is complemented by the subtle sparkle of the marcasite.
Inspired by the ornamental style of the late nineteenth century, the design reflects the natural motifs and detailed craftsmanship associated with both Victorian and Art Nouveau jewellery. A cultured pearl drop suspended beneath the floral form adds movement and a refined finishing element.
