About This Piece
This scarab pin brooch features a stylised beetle design centred around a heart shaped onyx stone. The wings are decorated with shimmering marcasite stones, while emerald accents form the eyes, creating a striking contrast against the dark polished surface of the onyx.
Inspired by the flowing natural forms and decorative symbolism associated with the Art Nouveau period, the brooch reflects the artistic influence of designers such as René Lalique. A cultured pearl drop suspended beneath the design introduces movement and a soft luminous finish that complements the brilliance of the stones.
Craftsmanship
This brooch is handcrafted in sterling silver using traditional jewellery-making techniques.
