This gold-plated heart pendant necklace belongs to The Birthstone Heart Collection, an original client presentation collection held within The JewelAri Archive. The collection was developed for the final presentation to a major mail-order jewellery client, but the project was cancelled before production began.
The pendant is formed in sculptured metal with a bright gold-plated finish. At its centre is a heart-cut Swarovski crystal in July Ruby colour, selected to evoke the traditional July birthstone. A surround of clear Swarovski crystals is individually hand set around the centre stone, while a decorative openwork heart design frames the composition.
The collection was developed around carefully chosen Swarovski crystal colours intended to represent the visual character of each traditional birthstone. This July design brings together the rich crimson-red Ruby colour and a vintage-inspired heart silhouette, with carefully balanced proportions.
Matching earrings and coordinating cufflinks were developed for every birth month and are available as part of the wider collection. This original presentation piece is in excellent archive condition.
