July Ruby Swarovski Crystal Heart Pendant Necklace

This July Ruby Heart Pendant Necklace is an original piece from The Birthstone Heart Collection, created for a final presentation to a major mail-order jewellery client. The project was completed and sampled, but cancelled before production began; the collection did not reach public release.

The pendant is made in gold plated sculptured metal with a bright gold plated finish. At its centre is a heart-cut Swarovski crystal in July Ruby colour, selected to represent the traditional July birthstone. A surround of clear Swarovski crystals is individually hand set around the heart, while decorative openwork heart detailing shapes the setting.

The Birthstone Heart Collection was developed around carefully selected Swarovski crystal colours representing all twelve traditional birthstones. Alongside the pendants, coordinating earrings and cufflinks were developed for each birth month.
