This July birthstone heart pendant necklace centres on a heart-cut Swarovski crystal in July Ruby colour. The crystal sits within a richly gold-plated sculptured metal setting, framed by individually hand-set clear Swarovski crystals and a decorative openwork heart design. Its finish is bright gold plated.

Part of The Birthstone Heart Collection, the pendant is an original client presentation piece from a jewellery programme developed for final presentation to a major mail-order jewellery client. The designs and samples were completed, but the project was cancelled before production began. This piece is offered through The JewelAri Archive in excellent archive condition.

The collection was developed around Swarovski crystal colours selected to represent traditional birthstones. July is represented by Ruby, traditionally associated with love, passion, courage and vitality. Coordinating earrings and cufflinks were developed for each birth month, allowing the July colour story to be worn as part of a matching set.
