About This Piece
This cockerel pin brooch features a decorative design with two stylised cockerel heads facing inward toward a central panel of mother of pearl. The lustrous surface of the mother of pearl forms the focal point of the composition, while the surrounding structure is enriched with marcasite stones and gemstone accents.
Inspired by the flowing forms associated with the Art Nouveau period, the brooch combines natural imagery with intricate ornamental detail. Amethyst and emerald accents add subtle colour highlights, while a cultured pearl drop suspended beneath the design introduces movement and a refined finishing touch.
Craftsmanship
This brooch is handcrafted in sterling silver using traditional jewellery-making techniques. The mother of pearl panel is carefully set within the openwork structure, the gemstones and marcasite stones are precisely arranged, and the cultured pearl drop is securely attached. The piece is hand finished and polished to highlight the sculptural detail and intricate surface.

Care & Notes
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time through exposure to light and moisture. Regular gentle cleaning with an impregnated silver polishing cloth will help maintain its lustre.
