About This Piece
This panther brooch features a sculptural feline figure standing upon a polished onyx disc. The sleek form of the panther is decorated with marcasite stones and highlighted with emerald eyes, creating a striking contrast between the dark base and the shimmering stonework.
Part of the Windsor Collection, the design draws inspiration from jewellery associated with the Duchess of Windsor and the dramatic animal motifs popular in early twentieth-century design. The addition of a clear faceted crystal drop beneath the figure introduces movement and brilliance, giving the brooch a distinctive decorative presence.
Craftsmanship
This brooch is handcrafted in sterling silver using traditional jewellery-making techniques. The onyx base, marcasite stones, emerald eyes and crystal drop are carefully set and assembled, while the piece is hand finished and polished to enhance the sculptural lines and fine detailing of the design.

Care & Notes
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time through exposure to light and moisture. Regular gentle cleaning with an impregnated silver polishing cloth will help maintain its lustre.

A gorgeous, glittery, extremely well-made piece evocative of one of those fierce panther sculptures associated with Art Deco. Amazing how something so small can capture so much movement in line and form. Not a duchess, but I just might feel like one when wearing this brooch! Shipped quickly and came securely packaged, along with storage pouch, box, and maintenance guide and materials. Thank you for the beautiful jewelry, Ari!
