This magnifying glass pendant is designed as a striking Art Deco jewel, featuring a sculptural panther poised above the lens. The three-dimensional mount is set with marcasite and detailed with an emerald accent to the eye, creating a dramatic contrast against the polished surface. The sleek panther form evokes early twentieth-century glamour, when bold animal motifs became emblematic of refinement and confidence. The emerald was only on the eye. It’s so fine like a step up from diamond dust, but in that emerald green. This emerald was flawed and didn’t have clarity either. However, marcasite/pyrite was much more abundant on the piece and clear. Good weight… Great craftsmanship with the exception of a flawed tiny emerald. And most all, I can read magazine articles and nutritional facts in extremely tiny fonts now. I completely adore this magnifying glass disguised as a necklace. It came with a silver care kit too. One recommendation: The magnifier is on a lovely and sturdy chain, however, a 3 or 4 inch extender would be good to allow adjustability to length of chain.
