This hallmarked sterling silver starfish brooch is part of the Studio Variations collection. Its five tapering arms radiate from a textured centre, following the sculptural geometry of the starfish.

Individually hand-set pink cubic zirconia traces the form in a pavé setting, while a black rhodium finish provides contrast around the stones. The brooch also has a high polish finish and a secure brooch pin fastening. It was developed as a precious-material interpretation of earlier sea-life costume jewellery collections, but was retained in the studio archive after exceeding the intended commercial retail price.
