Gold Plated January Garnet Swarovski Heart Necklace

This gold-plated heart pendant necklace belongs to The Birthstone Heart Collection, an original client presentation collection created for a major mail-order jewellery client. The programme was completed and sampled for final presentation, then cancelled before production began. The collection did not reach commercial release; these original presentation pieces are now released individually through The JewelAri Archive.

The pendant is formed in sculptured metal with a bright gold-plated finish. At its centre is a heart-cut Swarovski crystal in January Garnet colour, selected to evoke the traditional January birthstone. Hand-set clear Swarovski crystals surround the centre stone, while decorative openwork heart detailing frames the design. Carefully balanced proportions give the piece its considered character.

The Birthstone Heart Collection was developed around a palette of twelve Swarovski crystal colours, each chosen to represent a month. Coordinating earrings and cufflinks were also developed for every birth month. This piece may be worn on its own or alongside matching January designs. It is in excellent archive condition.
