This January birthstone heart pendant necklace is part of The Birthstone Heart Collection, an original client presentation collection from The JewelAri Archive. Its centre is a heart-cut Swarovski crystal in January Garnet colour, selected to evoke the traditional birthstone’s deep crimson character. A surround of clear Swarovski crystals is individually hand set around the heart, allowing the central colour to remain the focus.
The pendant is formed in gold plated sculptured metal with a bright gold plated finish. Its decorative openwork heart design and carefully balanced proportions reflect the collection’s vintage-inspired styling.
The Birthstone Heart Collection was developed as a coordinated jewellery programme, with matching earrings and cufflinks created for each birth month. This January design was completed as part of a final presentation for a major mail-order jewellery client, but the project was cancelled before production began. The piece is an original presentation item rather than a later reproduction, preserved in excellent archive condition.
