About This Piece
This magnifying glass pendant features two cherub figures forming part of the decorative frame that surrounds the lens. The sculpted forms add movement and balance to the circular design, creating a pendant that combines ornament with practical function. The magnifying lens is discreetly integrated within the frame, allowing the piece to remain both useful and visually distinctive.
The cherubs are finished with a sandblasted texture to emphasise their detail and contrast with the polished surfaces of the surrounding frame. Suspended from a belcher chain, the pendant is proportioned to sit comfortably when worn, reflecting the decorative character often associated with late nineteenth-century jewellery design.
Craftsmanship
Handcrafted in sterling silver, the pendant is formed as a unified sculptural piece, with the cherub figures carefully modelled to achieve depth and definition. The sandblasted finish is applied to highlight the figures and create subtle contrast with the polished frame. The magnifying lens is securely set within the mount, while the belcher chain complements the scale and weight of the pendant.

Care & Notes
