About This Piece
This heart-shaped locket is designed in a Victorian style and is set with marcasite surrounding a central garnet accent. The balanced composition combines the rich tone of the garnet with the subtle sparkle of marcasite, creating depth and character across the surface of the heart form.
The hinged construction opens to reveal four individual compartments for photographs, allowing several images to be carried within a single locket. Suspended from a chain, the pendant sits comfortably when worn and reflects the enduring tradition of sentimental keepsake jewellery.
