This pendant necklace centres on a green enamel egg form held within the coiled body of a sterling silver serpent. Part of the Studio Variations collection from JewelAri, it brings together a familiar form and a sculptural, symbolic arrangement.

The egg is presented as a guarded form, with the serpent wrapped protectively around it. The accompanying narrative connects the egg with beginnings, protection, possibility and life waiting to emerge, while the serpent is associated with transformation, guardianship, wisdom and renewal through change.
