Sterling Silver Travel Photo Frame with Original Case

This 925 sterling silver travel photograph frame by Ari D. Norman is held within its original fitted dark leatherette travel case. Closed, the case presents a dark exterior; opened, it reveals a polished sterling silver frame with a broad border around the photograph aperture and a blue fabric-lined interior. The folding case supports the frame for display and closes to protect it during travel.

Made in England in the 1990s, this is the original Ari D. Norman model selected by Harry Winston jewellers for the 1996 Oscars gift bag. Frames supplied for that event were specially presented in Harry Winston-branded cases and boxes. This example is not one of those event examples: it remained in Ari D. Norman in-house stock and retains its original presentation.

Part of The Curator’s Cabinet, the frame is one of only a handful remaining from original in-house stock. Its compact, portable format was made for carrying and displaying a physical photograph.
