Gold-Plated Amethyst Swarovski Crystal Heart Pendant

This gold-plated heart pendant belongs to The Birthstone Heart Collection, originally created for final presentation to a major mail-order jewellery client. The completed collection was sampled and prepared for launch, but the project was cancelled before production began or the range reached the public. This is an original client presentation piece from The JewelAri Archive, in excellent archive condition.

At its centre is a heart-cut Swarovski crystal in February Amethyst colour, selected to represent the traditional February birthstone. Individually hand-set clear Swarovski crystals form a surrounding frame, allowing the violet centre stone to remain the focal point. The pendant is made in gold-plated sculptured metal with a bright gold-plated finish, decorative openwork heart design and carefully balanced proportions.

The Birthstone Heart Collection was developed as a coordinated programme for all twelve birth months. Matching earrings and coordinating cufflinks were also developed for each month, allowing the colour stories to be worn individually or as a matching set. Its styling is vintage-inspired, while its history remains that of an original presentation collection preserved before commercial release.
