Sterling Silver Hand-Painted Enamel Golfer Pill Box

This hinged circular pill box is made in sterling silver and has an individually hand-painted enamel lid depicting a golfer preparing an approach shot beside water. Rolling fairways, mature trees and blue sky form the miniature golfing landscape.

Created during the 1990s as part of Ari D. Norman’s hand-painted enamel giftware, the box belongs to Studio Variations within the JewelAri Archive. The enamel scene was painted by hand, and slight variations occur between examples; no two are perfectly identical. The sterling silver body provides a frame for the enamelled lid, while the interior is highly polished silver.

The box bears English hallmarks, was made in England and is circa 1990s. It is in excellent archive condition. Originally intended as a pill box or personal keepsake, its hinged form can also hold rings, earrings, small mementoes or treasured keepsakes. Its golfing subject offers a quiet connection to British sporting tradition.
