This hallmarked sterling silver dolphin ring is finished in black rhodium and set with individually hand-set pink cubic zirconia. A jubilant dolphin spirals around the finger, its sculptural form covered in pink stones beneath the dark finish. The flowing composition privileges movement over symmetry, giving the design a different presence from each angle.
The ring belongs to Studio Variations, an archive collection of designs developed after earlier sea-life costume jewellery collections. The new series was made in sterling silver with black rhodium plating and individually hand-set cubic zirconia. It was originally designed for a luxury retail programme that did not reach production. The collection was left as intended rather than simplified, with only a handful produced.
This piece is an archive sample in excellent condition. Its dolphin design places marine life at the centre of the composition. It is available in one size only: UK size P / USA size 7 3/4.
